Biography[]
Lu Kuang was a general of Yuan Shao, and fought at Guan Du and his campaigns against Cao Cao. When he died, he served under his eldest son Yuan Tan. In AD 205, when Yuan Tan was executed by Cao Cao after breaking his alliance, Lu Kuang joined Yuan Shang, the heir apparent of Yuan Shao. In AD 207, he surrendered to Cao Cao after he conquered You Province, and dueled and killed Yuan Shang's general Cen Bi. Later that year, Cao Cao campaigned against Liu Bei and Liu Biao, attacking Liu Bei at Bowang. Lu Kuang was speared by Zhao Yun and collapsed.
