Sun Xiu was the third emperor of Wu.
Biography[]
Sun Xiu was King of Langye and the third emperor of Wu, after deposing Sun Liang. In 258, he ordered the execution of Sun Chen and his family and overthrew his oligarchy and replaced it with a monarchy. Sun Xiu neglected state affairs, and Wu was thrown into chaos during his reign. In 264, he fell ill and suddenly died, after also becoming deaf. His successor was Sun Hao.
