Biography[]
At the Battle of Mt. Ding Jun, he took command of his father's shattered troops. Then, he was at the frontline with his brother Xiahou Ba at the Battle of Wu Zhang Plains in 234. Three years later, he aided in the suppression of Gongsun Yuan. He died in 249, like a fortune teller told him once, after a feast with his family to celebrate his survival of a "life-threatening situation" that the fortune teller predicted should he not survive until 70 years.
