Zhang Yi was a general of Shu who was killed rescuing Jiang Wei.
Biography[]
Zhang Yi was a general of Liu Bei. He first served in Zhuge Liang's Southern Campaign against the Nan people. After that campaign, he served in the Northern expeditions of both Zhuge and Jiang Wei. At the Battle of Mt. Tie Tong , Zhang Yi was killed by Xu Zhi after letting Jiang Wei flee.
